About Me

Elena H. Fischer: Photos, sketches, drawings, watercolors, comments and/or notes ... I sketch or photograph with the artist’s approach. In 1994 I found a certain creative outlet using low digital cameras for poster ideas and portraits. As a digital photographer I am self-taught. I concentrate on atmospheres and work with fleeting impressions. Concerned with sculpture, graphics, space and city planning, my work is about ... sketching settings, depicting aspects or atmospheres. I just photograph when I feel respect and take notes for no reason at all. This diary is not wordy. I live in the French part of Switzerland. I can be confounded with other people having a same name. I was exhibited sometimes as (H)Elena (S.) Fis(c)her. I enjoy exhibits and people but not everything that comes with it... I feel stiff about expected communication ... I need to feel style in a certain way that does not mean the same thing to everybody. As an artist I believe in the mecene and the not totally interested way when we relate. Where do we go today ? Why do you relate to me when I can't relate to you ? And why am I not relating when I should ? I feel that I can't give you the sign language you want.
